Our History

• KMTL Technologies was started in August 2000 by Michael Evans and Kittiya Seeorn. Michael is an English Mechanical Engineer, and Kittiya was then a Thai Navy Nursing teacher.

• Our first project was the English - Thai Audio Dictionary and Phrase Book+ software application. You can hear Kittiya's voice in the website and in the program.

• Learn-Thai.Com was launched in November 2000 as a platform to share our Learn-Thai software with the world.

• In April 2002 we introduced an online audio dictionary to the website.

• The Thai script version of our software Learn-Thai 2 was released in August 2002.

• In December 2002 we presented our Thai Message website translation for the first time.

• Learn-Thai V3.0 was released in July 2009.

• Today we have registered users of our software in 38 different countries.

• In July 2005 Kittiya received her Doctorate in Research Methodology from Chulalongkorn University.

• During 2006 Kittiya was seconded by the Navy to the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (Public Organisation) ONESQA, Thailand. Here she acted as the head of the Higher Education Evaluation Department.

• Kittiya left the Thai Navy at the end of 2006 to persue overseas research.

• From 2008 to 2010 Kittiya was a Deputy Director of ONESQA, and today she continues her work related to educational evaluation.
